Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve body functions. Acupuncture is a modality of Chinese Medicine which was developed over thousands of years. Acupuncture has many practical applications in promoting overall health and wellness, prevention of illness, and treatment of a variety of medical conditions.

Megan Bartelt Clinic Director/Acupuncturist L.Ac., MSOM, Dipl. Ac.

Megan graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She has given many patients relief from a variety of health issues including: joint pain, tendinitis, auto-immune disorders, addiction, stress, anxiety and depression, neurodegenerative disorders, and chronic headaches.

Megan has extensive training in a specific type of scalp acupuncture which she finds to be incredibly helpful with diseases such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis, and especially enjoys the challenge of working with these difficult cases.

Megan has particular specialization, education, and experience in dealing with Women’s Health, fertility, and issues relating to pregnancy.

During her Masters program, Megan’s studies had focus surrounding the implementation of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture relating to infertility.

As a mother of 4, Megan has developed an even stronger interest in the use of acupuncture and Chinese medicine during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
